They range from traditional German to vegan, fast food to Michelin-starred cuisine, taking in original Cologne brewery-pub culture, a lively bar and pub scene, first-rate hotel restaurants and stylish bars, cafés that exude urban flair or the atmosphere of a “local”, museums featuring everything from mustard to chocolate, real “made in Cologne” products, creative specialist food markets and top-class weekly markets plus lots more. And it’s all thanks to people who are passionate about good food and drink and do their bit every day to maintain the standard of the city’s culinary offering.
